Hi, I’m Alison. I’m a Level 2 Sommelier and a long-time hospitality professional, but at heart, I’m a storyteller who believes the best stories are found at the bottom of a wine glass.

My journey into the world of wine wasn’t just about memorizing regions or mastering the "perfect pour"—it was about uncovering the magic that happens when the right bottle meets the right moment. After years in hospitality, event planning, and sales training, I realized that for most people, the world of wine feels more like an exclusive club than an open invitation. I started The Witch of Wine to change that.

Professional Expertise, Zero Pretension. I bring a "concierge-style" approach to wine education. My goal is to strip away the intimidation of the tasting room and replace it with a bit of enchantment. Whether we’re exploring the nuances of a bold Napa Valley Cabernet or discovering a hidden gem from a boutique vineyard, I focus on the "why" behind what you’re tasting—helping you build a palate that feels like your own.

When I’m not hosting a tasting or studying for my next certification, I’m at home with my family in Medford, NJ. With two small kids, we’re usually having fun weekends at home or with friends, and exploring all the fantastic things our little town has to offer. We love the small town vibe, and support all of the small businesses this area has to offer.
